This fake news or health facts slideshow is an editable digital resource which helps high school students develop critical health literacy skills so they can discern fake news in health from reliable information. It can be used as a whole class introduction discussing the importance of media literacy and critical thinking skills, followed by a mini project where students independently research and analyze health information. Many students in high school rely on social media for all their news, and have trouble spotting fake news when they are seeking information online.
